The PBPMS evaluates academic and performance achievements across all academic courses and the range of work-related activity through four performance tracks, each based on the student-employee, and with an emphasis on academic excellence: A.

Learning and Academic Success B. Team Learning and Academic Success C. Professional development and professional growth D. The AATS tracks the student's progress over time by tracking his or her performance. The AATS also tracks major life milestones with the help of a chart. The track charts help track major life events such as marriage, the birth or adoption of a child, a change in the financial status and career goals for the student.

This process helps ensure that students and their families are on a consistent track, and that changes in life events are aligned to each other. The PBPMS system allows the institution to track and measure student success for all five performance tracks and then aligns student progress with the institution's mission and vision, as well as the student's strengths, skills, needs and potential for growth. The PBPMS system also allows students to manage their academic experience and meet the expectations of employers by allowing student's goals and aspirations to be met within their academic program, academic department, or school.

Students can choose the track that most aligns with their goals. Students and school staff are able to monitor results and compare the academic performance of individual and small groups. Additionally, students, school staff and faculty have the opportunity to review academic progress or ask questions regarding individual performance through a secure online portal.

The system is available in the student's individual academic record and in the school or college record based on the student's student number.
